With roots dating back to the city's first hotel from 1837, Hôtel du Nord, the beautiful buildings in Dronningens gate are undergoing a complete transformation. When Villa Nord opens its doors in November 2026, it will carry forward nearly 200 years of hospitality traditions in a historic setting where heritage meets the present.
A career across transformation
Helene brings extensive experience from the hospitality industry, spanning both operational leadership and strategic development. Throughout her career she has led complex projects through start-up and transformation phases, including a key role in the development of Sommerro, one of Nordic Hotels & Resorts' most acclaimed destinations. Most recently, she served as Hotel Director at Hotel Riviera.
At Villa Nord she will lead the creation of a boutique hotel experience built around genuine hospitality, tailored service, and exceptional attention to detail. Together with her future team, she will shape a destination that honors the site's rich history while delivering contemporary guest experiences.
