A standing invitation to meet the people behind the bottle: growers and winemakers pouring their own work across one long table.
Each session is built around a single region, a handful of producers, and a supper written to match. Dates and the first pourings will be announced in the new year.
The room below the bar
Behind the shelving in the main bar is a door that does not look like one. Below it lies the speakeasy, and beside that the Wine Room: low light, one long table, and one of Trondheim's deepest cellars within arm's reach.
Twelve seats, one table, no stage. The people who grew the fruit do the pouring, and supper is written after the wines are chosen, never before.
What is in the cellar
The Villa Nord Private Collection is rooted in the classical vineyards of Italy and France, and does not stop there, natural and organic bottles, lively pét-nats, savoury orange wines, a growing shelf from Georgia.
Nothing is poured to impress; we would rather you left knowing one valley well than twelve labels badly. Dates come when the room is ready, write to us and you will hear first.
