Our Tipsy Tea, laid the Villa Nord way: baked goods, small savouries and patisserie, all made in the house that morning.
Local ingredients, with our touch, accompanied by a drink chosen for the occasion. Dates will be announced as events on the calendar.
An afternoon, kept
The stand goes down by the salon window, the pot of leaf tea follows, and after that nobody is in any particular hurry. That is the whole design.
It is also the oldest thing this house does: when Hôtel du Nord opened in 1837 it was Trondheim's first hotel, laying a table d'hôte and an à la carte at a time when that was a rarity in Norway.
Three tiers by the salon window, the afternoon arranges itself around it.
It continues into the late hours
Our afternoon tea does not end, it carries onwards. We welcome you to our home: the Bistrot for the evening's cooking, the aperitivo hour after it and, as late as an evening can become, our Bespoke 1837 bar. You will always have somewhere to be.
Reservation is required, so the afternoon can be prepared for exactly the guests who come.
